REAL HELP PLEDGE SYSTEM

The New Testament church had always set the example of community. They share everything and were united not only in faith, but also in tangible matters. So, when one is in need, the rest of the community extends help in whatever capacity possible.

The present church, with its movements towards worship, holiness, intimacy, the prophetic, and kingdom-taking, has gain grounds towards the spiritual realm. However, it has only accomplished baby steps towards truly make tangible changes in the world. Ministering to the sick is one of the situations where in the church can make tangible effects, more than just praying for the patient. In the past year alone, we have an estimate of 20 members and/or their relatives who are stricken by several medical diseases from car accidents to cancer who needed emergency or continuous medical treatment.

As a church, we have extended our prayers to them, made visits, and even gave financial assistance from special offerings to help them. But these one time giving and occasional offerings are often not enough to substantially help especially those that need several sessions of treatment.

WHAT IS THE REAL HELP PLEDGE SYSTEM?

The Real Help Pledge system is a financial assistance scheme the JOHIA Adult’s Ministry developed to consistently raise a pool of funds for the medical needs of disadvantaged members.

It is a pledge system designed to be simple, feasible, and with attainable goals. It is set up in such a way as to enable anyone to afford giving financial aid on a regular basis.

P50.00 A MONTH

If you desire to enroll in the pledge, you will only put in P50 a month to the financial aid pool of Real Help.

For just a price of a burger meal, or less that 3 days worth of unlimited texts, or even one third of the price of a frapuccino, you can help financially contribute to a cancer patient’s next chemotherapy, or to a member’s appendectomy procedure, or even to a day in the ICU for a comatose father of a brother.

REAL HELP DOESN'T HAVE TO COST MUCH!

Extending Real Help doesn’t have to cost so much. But getting a little help from a large number of people will amount to a substantial, tangible, and world affecting touch of God’s loving hand of help.

Extend your real help and enroll in this pledge system. Start by filling up the attached form in the brochure available in the JOHIA entrance. For those outside Manila or abroad, please email us at johiaadultsministry@yahoo.com so we can send you a file of the brochure and the attached pledge form. Please print and fill up the form. Send us a scanned copy of the accomplished form to our email or fax to (632)4373248.

Please place your contribution in the Real Help Pledge envelope and drop it at the Real Help Pledge box near the entrance of the sanctuary. For check donations, please write it payable to Jesus Our Hope International Assemblies and indicate at the back that it is a Real Help Pledge. For donations through bank, you can deposit the pledge to the JOHIA account at Banco Filipino Cubao Branch account # 11009700001-2. Please send us a message through johia_phil15@yahoo.com or call JOHIA office at (632)9123031 to inform us of the deposit done for the pledge. This is suggested to our brothers and sisters abroad who want to extend their REAL HELP as well. You can also donate in other denominations or any amount as God touches your heart. What is important is you can commit to it on a monthly basis. Allow us to send you a reminder once in a while for your monthly contribution. Periodically, we will send you a financial report and testimonies on the help extended to sick members through the pledge.
