The New Testament church had always set the example of community. They share everything and were united not only in faith, but also in tangible matters. So, when one is in need, the rest of the community extends help in whatever capacity possible.
DOES IT MATTER?
I was hungry and you formed a humanities club to discuss my hunger.
Thank you.
I was imprisoned and you crept off quietly to your chapel to pray for my release.

I was naked and in your mind you debated the morality of my appearance.
What good did that do?
I was sick and you knelt and thank God for your health.
But I needed you.
I was homeless and you preached to me of the shelter of the love of God.
I wish you’d taken me home.
I was lonely and you left me alone to pray for me.

Condolences to Sister Nora Lucero for her mother's passing
Last week, the mother of Sister Nora Lucero, the wife of Ptr. Danny Lucero of JOHIA Marikina, went with the Lord as she struggled with cancer. Her remains were viewed at Immaculate Conception Funeral Parlor at Sta. Maria, Bulacan where several JOHIA National Pastors attended the wake. Her interment was yesterday, February 22, 2009.
Thank you for all who extended their condolences and shown their sympathy to the family.

Last Sunday, Ate Rose Lapasaran spoke at the 10AM Service. I came from an "Anghel Na Nawalan ng Tinig" promotion at Bicutan but I made it a point to come as early as I could not to miss it.
